- A good way of ranking your site is to comment on other people’s sites or blogs that are interested in the same sort of business as you, for example if I went on a driveway forum and I see a question like: how do I kill weeds and prevent them from coming back through my driveway? If I knew the answer I could answer the question and leave my website link at the bottom of the post, this is free advertising and good for search engine ranking as its classed as a backlink. Keep going to different sites and answering questions and leaving your link behind, it will rank your site much higher which = more traffic!

- Paid advertising is a good way of driving traffic, lets take Facebook for example and you set up a campaign for £10 and it worked out that everytime someone clicked on your add it costed you £1.00, if from every £10 you spent from paid advertising you was making one sale of £15 you are £5 in profit, so then you know to up the money from £10 to £20 so your add is show more times and you will make more money and get traffic to website.
-Driving traffic from social media sites such as Facebook. Facebook is the second most visited site in the world and there’s millions of people on Facebook 24hours of the day, so a good way of getting traffic is to set up a group on Facebook. Make a separate account on Facebook, strictly for business and start adding people that are interested in the same thing as you, once you start getting a few 100 friends you need to start communicating with them and providing them with value so they want to come back and talk to you, after you have started to build your relationship with your friends on Facebook you need to make a group. start to add your friends into your group and sharing lots of good information on your wall, once there in the group you can start to feed them your website links for them to go on. Also another very powerful tip is you can private message all the members in your group, so it’s basically like having your own email list but on Facebook. This is so powerful to get traffic to website.
